1. Introduction

This user guide provides step-by-step instructions for managing users, shifts, locations, and viewing activity reports within the management platform. Use this document as a reference to navigate the system and perform key functions efficiently.

2. User Management

Adding a New User

To create a new user account in the system:

  1. Navigate to Security > Users from the main menu
  2. Click the + button
  3. Enter the user's details in the dialog box
  4. Select a role from the dropdown menu (mandatory)
  5. Click Update to save and create the user

Editing an Existing User

  1. From the Users list, click the Edit button next to the user's name
  2. Update the user's Name, Email, Designation, and Role
  3. Click Update to save changes
Note: The username cannot be changed once created.

3. Location Management

Adding a New Location

To add a new deployment site or location:

  1. Hover over Masters and select Locations
  2. Click the + button
  3. Complete all required fields: Location Name, Address, Contact Person, Phone Number, Email
  4. Add any optional Remarks if needed
  5. Click Update to save the location

Editing an Existing Location

  1. Locate the desired entry and click the Edit button
  2. Modify any details as needed (all fields are editable)
  3. Click Update to save changes

4. Shift Management

Creating a New Shift

  1. Navigate to Masters > Shifts
  2. Click the + button
  3. Enter shift details: Shift Name, Start/End Times, Break Times, Grace Time (minutes), and Shift Order
  4. Click Update to create the shift

Editing an Existing Shift

  1. Find the shift in the list and click the Edit button
  2. Modify any shift parameters as needed
  3. Click Update to save changes

5. Employee Assignment

Assigning Employees to a Location

  1. Navigate to Masters > Manage > By Location
  2. Select the desired Location from the dropdown
  3. Choose available users/employees to assign
  4. Click Assign User Location

Removing an Employee from a Location

Click the Delete button next to the employee's name in the location list.

Assigning Shifts to Employees

  1. Navigate to Masters > Assign Shift
  2. Locate the employee in the list and find the Shift Name column
  3. Click on the shift name field to open the dropdown menu
  4. Select the appropriate shift (assignment is automatic upon selection)

6. Activity & Reporting

Viewing the Biometric Punch Log

  1. Navigate to Activity > Biometric Punch
  2. Select From Date and To Date using the calendar controls
  3. Click the Load button
  4. Review the displayed interactions including employee name, time, and location coordinates

Checking Individual Location Pings

  1. Go to Activity > Location Track
  2. Set date range and click Load
  3. View detailed information including battery percentage, IMEI, location permissions, time, address, and map links

Checking an Individual's Route Trace

  1. Navigate to Activity > Trace Route
  2. Select the user and date
  3. Click Show Route
  4. Examine the route map with detailed ping information including coordinates and timestamps

7. Reports

Generating a Day Log Report

To generate a comprehensive daily report for a specific site:

  1. Navigate to Reports > Day Log
  2. Select Site/Location and Shift from dropdowns
  3. Click Load to generate the report
  4. Review details including name, date, shift, break times, shift hours, mobile, and email
  5. Export to XLSX format if needed

Generating a Shift Summary Report

  1. Go to Reports > Shift Summary
  2. Configure filters: From Date, To Date, Location, and Shift
  3. Click Load to generate the summary
  4. Review comprehensive data including site, shift, employee deployment, dates, hours, and contact information
